Two versions of our story

VERSIÓN DE ALICIA

Enero 2014

Iniciaba un nuevo año, nuevos proyectos, nuevas metas y más sueños.Necesitaba dinero para emprender, era hora de buscar empleo, y como arte de magia llegó una oferta a mi correo, a los dos días ya estaba parada frente a una puerta para iniciar mi primera experiencia laboral.

“Ella es Alicia, será la nueva recepcionista” – le dijo Leo a otra chica y por mi mente solo pasaba << ¡Sabe mi nombre! ¿Cómo sabe mi nombre?>>. En ese primer día de nerviosismo, él fue el único que estuvo allí para mi, me tuvo paciencia y me explico todo lo que tenía que hacer.

Todavía recuerdo cuando escuchaba sonar canciones de mi banda favorita desde el escritorio de Leonel o su obsesión con la canción “Adore you” de Miley Cyrus la primera semana que estuve allí.

El trabajo lo deje un mes después pero me dejo un excelente  amigo , mi twin; ya a pasado 1 año, 8 meses y seguimos contando.

Actualidad

No puedo decir que somos idénticos, no tenemos los mismos gustos en todo pero si tenemos metas similares y eso nos hace muy unidos.

En cuanto a este blog, solo puedo decir que : Leonel lee mi mente

VERSIÓN DE LEONEL

Imagino que todos alguna vez han escuchado hablar de “amor a primera vista”, pues les diré que si existe, pero no exactamente amor, yo lo llamaría amistad a primera vista.

Nos conocimos en medio de una de las tantas cosas que tenemos en común y creo que gracias a eso somos tan unidos como hoy. No quiere decir que no haya cosas que nos guste a uno y al otro no, pero eso es parte de una buena amistad.

Hicimos “click” desde el primer momento; la misma música, los mismos gustos, los mismos lugares, tanto que algunos nos dicen que parecemos mellizos, pero mellizos de vientres diferentes.

Pensando un día en querer realizar un proyecto que involucrara todas esas cosas que nos gustan a ambos, nació la idea de crear este blog. Le escribí y le comenté “Alice, que tal si creamos un blog para colocar y compartir con quien quiera vernos y leernos todas esas cosas que nos gustan” y justo sus palabras fueron “estaba exactamente pensando en lo mismo antes de que me escribieras”.

Y así, gracias a esta amistad estamos desarrollando este nuevo proyecto juntos. Esperamos que le guste a muchos.

ALICE’S VERSION

January 2014.

New year, new projects, new goals and dreams. I need money-was my first thought, it was time to find a job and like a work of magic, an offer came to my mail, two days later I was standing in front of a door to start my first work experience.

“She is Alice, she is the new receptionist” – Leo told to another girl and in my mind I was like << ¡you know my name! ¿How do you know my name? >>. On that first day of nervousness, he was the one who was there for me, he was patient and he explained me everything that I had to do.

I still remember when I heard songs of my favorite band playing from the desktop of Leonel, or his obsession with the song “Adore You” of Miley Cyrus the first week I was there.

I left the work a month later; one year, eight months and counting, have passed. I continue with my twin, we still friends.

Present

I can’t say we are the identical, we don’t have the same taste in everything but we have similar goals and that makes us very close.

About this blog, I can only say: Leonel read my mind!

LEONEL’S VERSION

I think that you’ve heard about “love at first sight”, so I will say that it’s real, but not love exactly, I call it friendship at first sight.

We met in the middle of one of the many things that we have in common, and I think, thanks to that, today we are so close. This not want to say that there aren’t things that one of us like and the other doesn’t like, but that is part of  a good friendship.

We did “click” since the first moment; same music, same likes, same places, some people say that we look like twins, but twins from another mother.

The other day I was thinking to create a new project with all these things that we both love, and the idea to have this blog, was born. I told her “Alice, you want to create a blog and share with everyone the things that we like”, and she said “I was thinking exactly the same before you text me”.

So, thanks to this friendship we are having our new project. We hope you enjoy it.
