¡Oh si! es ese tiempo del año… Victoria’s Secret fashion show

Aunque algunas lo nieguen, hay algo que se activa en nosotras cuando escuchamos las palabras Victoria´s Secret.

Hace algunos días estaba en el Mall y me senté frente a la tienda de Victoria´s Secret, algo que llamó mi atención fue ver que muchas mujeres que pasaban se quedaban mirando las pantallas que muestran el VSFS de años anteriores, y repentinamente hasta su postura cambiaba al mirar a las modelos en la pasarela.

Si bien es cierto muchas alguna vez hemos criticado a las modelos, que si muy flacas o que si muy insípidas, aburridas, etc… aunque a mi parecer el desfile de VS ha bajado mucho esa calidad que tenían sus modelos en las pasarelas, todavía quedan ciertos ángeles como Adriana Lima, Karlie Kloss y Candice S. que apenas pisan la pasarela te transmiten poder.

Con toda la fiebre del VSFS, se activo mi Angel interior y lo que sucedio despues fue buscar en youtube; Train Like an angel, Victoria’s Secret model makeup tutorial, Steal the look: Gigi Hadid… y ese tipo de cosas.

El trauma solo dura como una o dos semanas, luego volveré a ser la misma Alicia que se preocupa por hacer ejercicio, comer bien…. pero en menor escala.

A todo esto, todo el mundo habla del desfile y las modelos pero parece que olvidan que el punto principal es lo que están vendiendo las modelos: la ropa interior y demás, ¿no?… o a lo mejor las mujeres no le prestamos tanta atención a la mercancía porque sentimos que es imposible vernos igual de hermosas como las modelos.

Enfin……

Me di a la tarea de comprar algunas piezas de la tienda de Victoria’s Secret  y ahora he de confesar que se ha convertido en una de mis marcas favoritas. En mi opinión, la calidad es muy buena. Yo me declaro fanática de los sport bras. cómodo para hacer ejercicio, cómodo para viajar, y ahora que está de moda usar el bra como crop top, los sostenes de VS hacen un excelente trabajo.

Algo muy cómico que me sucedió, fue que una chica que conozco me pregunto que porque yo compraba en la tienda de Victoria’s Secret, si esa tienda solo era para mujeres talla 0. ERROR, eso es solo cuestión de percepción.

Prestando atención, al final hay que reconocer que lo que más llama la atención en el VSFS es la actitud. Increíble cuánto puede cambiar una mujer solo por tener confianza y sentirse en la cima del mundo.

Recuerda, no importa si tus medidas no son las de una supermodelo, el secreto está en la confianza y la actitud.

Oh yeah! It’s that time of the year … Victoria’s Secret fashion show

Although some deny it, there is something that is activated when we hear the words Victoria’s Secret.

A few days ago I was at the Mall and I sat in front of the Victoria’s Secret store, something that caught my attention was to see that several women who were passing by were looking at the screens that show the VSFS and suddenly their posture changes when looking at the models on the catwalk.

Maybe we have criticized those models, if they are skinny or if they are insipid, boring, etc … although in my opinion the VSFS has greatly reduced the quality of their models on the catwalks, there are still certain angels like Adriana Lima, Karlie Kloss and Candice S. who just as they step on the catwalk, manage to transmit power.

With all the fever of the VSFS, my inner Angel was active and what happened next was me looking on youtube: Train Like an angel, Victoria’s Secret model makeup tutorial, Steal the look: Gigi Hadid … and that kind of things. xD

The trauma will only last about a week or two, then I’ll be the same Alicia who worries about exercising, eating well …. but on a smaller scale.

Btw, Did you notice that everyone talks about the fashion show and the models, but it’s seems like everybody forget that the main point is what the models are selling: underwear, right? … or maybe women do not pay so much Attention to the merchandise because we feel that it’ss impossible to look  as beautiful as the models?

Anyway……

I gave myself the task of buying some pieces from the Victoria’s Secret store and now I have to confess that it has become one of my favorite brands. In my opinion, the quality is very good. I declare myself a fan of the sport bras. comfortable to exercise, comfortable to travel, and now that it’s fashionable to use the bra as a crop top, VS bras do an excellent job.

Remember, it doesn’t matter if your measurements are not those of a supermodel, the secret lies in confidence and attitude.
